Surrender to Pink

March 23, 2012 by WendyB

Studded and spiked shoes have been done to death, and I thought the look would never appeal to me again. Well, you know what I say about the word “never”; I might as well replace it with “definitely” when it comes to fashion. Gorgeous blogger Poochie of Shoe Daydreams posted these shoes by Ruthie Davis, and I believe the correct fashion-blogger term for my feelings is “smitten.”

$1,298 on endless.com. Click to shop.

The color! The heel! I would need a yellow-gold version of my pink-sapphire locket to match, of course.

My Papessa locket design. Click to shop.

If you buy the shoes, I won’t be jealous because I’ll be so happy about the custom order for a locket that you’ll be sure to place.

By the way, “Surrender to Pink” is the name of an adult website run by a Mistress Dyvia. I didn’t check it out, but perhaps it’s the right place for the folks who hit my blog thanks to searches for “latex sex.” Recently, in the space of a few minutes, I had traffic from that search term coming from Utah, Pennsylvania and Germany. What’s going on with latex sex and why didn’t I get the memo? I’m clearly missing out on something kinktastic.

I’m not much of a pink person, but those shoes are fierce! Combined with your necklace sounds magical…

The heel of the shoe is what I’m really draw into! And I’m glad it’s not a platform (even though I’m a huge platform fan on ladies) because it really would have made this shoe look like tons of other shoes! Great post

Shoes must be made of gold now based on how much prices have gone up in the past few years. It’s killing me. Literally. I’ve had to totally cut out our food budget to get shoes lately.

Love the colour but I’d fall under a bus in them! That locket is beautiful. For some reason, “Sulky Torture” seems to be a popular search term to get to my blog !

    Those shoes are quite fierce!

Haha! Ah, I love looking at search terms. Most people finding my blog are looking for “final fantasy concept art”, “john watson sweaters”, or “all saints [fill in blank]”

Obviously, I need to be appealing to the kinkier side of search terms. 😉

The shoes are cool, the necklace even cooler, and somehow I think someone, somewhere would just love to have a pink latex dress (although I think white would be hotter) to enhance the show, so to speak.

Me, I’d be happy with the necklace.

Your posts are always so funny and informative! I now know more than I knew yesterday – surrender to pink and Utah people searching for latex sex! LOL! BTW, its funny how people end up on blogs..I had someone landing on my blog searching ‘beautiful woman ride pony’! I don’t remember writing ‘pony’ on my blog ever!!! Hope you are having a wonderful day!

I could never wear those shoes – I’d look like a drag act. Like the locket though, it looks like a baseball.

I love those shoes, I’m all over pinks and I’m a yellow gold person to boot so the studs are right on.
