A big thanks to the Retailer Jeweler magazine for featuring my black-diamond Cleves swan ring in the October issue!
The Cleves ring was inspired by the smartest of all the six wives of Henry VIII. Click here to read the blog post in which I proved Anne of Cleves was a damn genius.
I have other Cleves swan pieces. Here’s the gold and diamond ring, which you can try on in person at Broken English Jewelry in Santa Monica, Calif.
You can see it being made here.
There’s a silver version of the ring as well.
The original Cleves swan piece was an 18K gold, onyx and diamond necklace.
I did onyx, diamond and gold winged earrings to complement the necklace.
And here is my original January 2011 post on the black-diamond Cleves ring.
No ugly ducklings here! Just swans!

Congratulations! So happy to see this piece featured, I really love it. Great contrast with the black and gold. Such a beautiful design.
