Work With Me, Peeps!

September 11, 2008 by WendyB

Are you peeps really going to stop the bidding for my fabulous jewelry and immortality auction at $1,500? I think you can do a little more. We have until Friday at 11:59 PM ET. Don’t give up yet! If you don’t have the money, find someone with the money. Have you sent the link to EVERY friend, family member, neighbor, high school classmate and colleague? I’m not convinced that someone doesn’t have even just $100 more.

Let me remind you that we are raising money to help gorgeous blogger Stephanie “NieNie” Nielson and her husband, Christian, who were horribly burned in a plane crash. Let me also remind you what the New York Times said about Stephanie: “Last week, during reconstructive surgery on Ms. Nielson’s badly damaged face, doctors retrieved enough tissue from parts of her body to craft a new nose and ears.” And that was the good news, people!

The Nielsons’ children

If you place the winning bid, you’ll get this beautiful silver Diana Necklace, which will be engraved especially for you. You’ll also get darling blue topaz stud earrings. And most importantly, you’ll get immortality when I name a piece of jewelry after you.

If the bidding makes it to $2,000, I’ll upgrade those topaz earrings to diamond earrings. And if the bidding makes it to $5,000, I’ll let you trade in the silver Diana and the diamond earrings for this spectacular 18K gold and diamond Diana. You get to keep the immortality, of course.

Here is gorgeous friend and spokesmodel Abby to show you the silver Diana. She rocked the necklace last night at a glamorous party Marie Claire threw for fashionista Nina Garcia. Actresses Lindsay Lohan and Ashley Olsen were in attendance and, trust me, Abby looked right at home with all her WendyB jewelry on!

So click here to place or check a bid. I’m looking for a minimum bid of $1,600. Remember, immortality is priceless!

P.S. to GeorgeB, BarbaraB’s birthday is coming up and I think gold and diamonds would be right up her alley.

AC, I know, where are those folks? They’re hiding from me. Come out, come out, wherever you are! BTW, AC, you donate any amount of money to the Nielsons via the button on this blog and forward me the receipt, I’ll give you a thank you here!
