I feel like The Silver Squirrel would be an excellent name for a professional cat burglar. So, way to inspire a crime spree.

my dad used to take me to the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens, every Saturday to feed the squirrels. I was so good at it, I would hold the peanut in my hand and they would gently take it right from me. That’s what we did for fun! Your golden squirrel looks just as sweet and gentle!

  43. WendyB says

    October 8, 2008 at 10:37 am

AIS, it’s at the photographer’s studio at this very moment! It’s not the mechanical acorn that has the captive squirrel. It’s not worth putting all that labor into silver. But it looks just like the gold acorn from the outside. It would be cute to wear the silver squirrel on a short chain and the silver acorn on a long chain.

  44. GeorgeB says

    October 8, 2008 at 1:54 pm

I’m glad you set the squirrel free.
