Did You Miss Me?

November 27, 2007 by WendyB

I have a confession to make. I sneaked away to L.A. for a few days and never told y’all! I didn’t want you peeps to make a scene … all that weeping, wailing and begging me to stay is just not dignified! Snap out of it!

While in L.A. , I wore some crazy Alaia shoes that I got a while ago. I tried to take a picture of my foot while I was wearing them.

That looked a little weird, since I was bending my leg crazily while sitting in the car, so here’s a photo of a shoe by itself.

Not as good as fish feet, but still pretty good.

Pretty good for real! That’s paisley, right, on wood? I’m glad that you included both photos so we could get the proper angle of the strap.

Oh no you dih-UNT!!! I’m am bitterly disappointed that you didn’t call. (but completely understand — it’s a slippery slope when you start meeting your fans. Where’s time for Wendy?)

Hope you had a great time : ) Love the shoes!

Hope Henry’s feeling better. If not, stay in your magical hallway and wear pretty dresses until he does.

Those Alaia’s are really lovely–Sexy with the cutout, but demure with the blue and white paisley!

Judging by the cab floor, looks like you were on Laurel Canyon Blvd. I love that place!

Lynette, the shoes aren’t wood. I was fondling them the other day to try to figure out what they were.I have no idea! They have a strawlike texture and a somewhat plastic-y feel.
Moira and Kian, I didn’t even realize I was in your hood! Normally I try to meet a blogger everywhere I go. I guess I was distracted because I had a few other visits planned….photos to come.

Well it’s sorta my hood. I’m an hour outside of LA in the Meth Capital of the World, and while that makes for fun fun times, it’s not exactly for normal people.

However, just knowing you were almost here, and in the place I love (I do lovvvvvvvvve me some Los Angeles), is nearly almost good enough.

    I make no sense today.

Ooh, Kian, how fun! I love locally grown meth. So environmentally conscious! Seriously, I do go to LA four times a year or so; on the next trip I will organize a blogger outing!
    Sage: Thanks!

Great shoes. Will you considering send them to a fellow blogger to wear? If I say pretty please?

I’ll do what magazines do for product shoots and send one 😉
I’ve hopped around my photographer’s studio in all sorts of ugly single shoes.

Perfect, sadly Britney and I could not make a date. She was very busy running over some paparazzi. I was distraught because my chimichanga region was all ready for the photo op. You know, when in Rome, flash as the Romans do.

The rental car we got turned out to be an SUV that was rather high off the ground. While wearing a tight skirt I had to sort of throw myself into the air and then into the car. I did wonder how that would have looked if someone was there to take a picture, and was happy that no one cared to record the moment for posterity. As far as I know!
