In case you missed it, here’s what was on the blog this week.
- Monday, May 29: Obama read 10 letters from ordinary Americans every day. He did it to understand citizens’ concerns. Now, Hillary Clinton’s staff is busy answering each of the 100,000 messages she’s received since the election. Can you imagine Trump doing anything similar? Of course, you can’t, because you know he can’t even read one letter.
- Tuesday, May 30: There’s vintage and there’s vintage vintage! I’ve owned this 1960s/70s Ossie Clark dress for 10 years.
- Wednesday, May 31: I’ve written about British designer Ossie Clark plenty of times, but now you can hear me speaking about him on YouTube too!
- Friday: June 2: I didn’t intend for this to be “Ossie Clark Week” on the blog but it’s well-timed: Ossie’s birthday was June 9, and he would have turned 75 this year. Anyway, I found an unusual Ossie jacket with a Celia Birtwell print on 1stdibs.com, and I had to share it.
On Instagram, I posted some photos of gorgeous women wearing my designs, including model Duckie Thot. Doesn’t she look fierce in my Marie Antoinette earrings?
Duckie is also wearing my Marie Antoinette ring, Frog and Prince Maneater ring, and Matilda sword necklace in this little shoot she did for an Into the Gloss interview. Duckie was styled by the fabulous Farren Fucci, who also did that Paper magazine shoot with Bella Hadid.
