The jacket reminds me of Stella McCartney’s Spring 2001 collection for Chloe, which had a number of equine-themed pieces. But if you see Stella, don’t tell I her I said that because leather gets her all riled up.
The only thing about leather that gets me riled up (in a good way) is the idea of washable stretch leather jeans, which is something Jean Claude Jitrois is now selling. I don’t know why that should thrill me so much since I rarely wash my jeans anyway (hey, it hurts them!) but I like the sound of it.

Speaking of leather pants, I’ve previously mentioned that at my wedding, I changed out of my Richard Tyler wedding gown late in the evening and into custom-made white leather hip huggers and a matching halter top. I’ll post a picture of that one of these days.

I heard about the washable leather pants yesterday and got all excited too! Jean Claude Jitrois is clearly sitting on a gold mine!
Washable leather! Who would have thought. I have a black leather skirt I’ve been meaning to wear. All this talk of leather makes me eager to wear it this Fall.

That jacket is really eye catching! And also, I just complained about how I don’t like leather pants and how heard they are to wash, but washable hip huggers?! Could work!

Call me crazy, but for the longest time I stared at the horse applique and only saw a lady in harem pants with a green turban and black goggles. I just had to confess my error!
