Ask WendyB

October 24, 2008 by WendyB

Gorgeous blogger Winona of Daddy Likey does a great feature called Inadvertently Ask Daddy Likey, for which she offers highlarious “answers” to questions inadvertently posed by search terms people use to find her blog.

Here’s Winona.
Ain’t she cute?

I was thinking of Winona’s feature because search terms with question marks keep appearing in my stats. So now I will answer questions non-inadvertently asked of WendyB in a non-highlarious way.

anne boleyn’s brother gay? In real life, most likely not. See here.

anne boleyn’s initials? Um, “A” and “B.” The name “Anne Boleyn” is a clue to that. Separately, if you’d like to buy an Anne Boleyn-inspired initial necklace from me, click here.

coco’s ass real? She says it’s a hundred percent au natural. Coco wouldn’t lie.

wendy brandes jewelry when you can’t be cute anymore? When you’re wearing Wendy Brandes jewelry you will ALWAYS be cute. Don’t sweat it.

what are mafia clothes? A shiny suit, pinky ring and baseball bat.

found hair clip in birkenau with fine engraved how old is it? If you found something at a concentration camp that you think could be 60-something years old, it might belong to a murder victim so it is unethical to keep it. You should have turned it in to someone there rather than removing it from the site. If you picked up a made-in-China plastic clip that fell out of some hostel-staying tourist’s filthy hair, you’re just an idiot. How’s that for an answer?

UPDATED TO ADD: Here’s a search-term post that’s WAY funnier than mine. Dammit!

Haha, the Anne Boleyn initials, that’s funny! Although I think the searcher was looking for the necklace =)

People stumble upon my blog with searches related to weddings. My wedding gets featured a lot in magazines and on TV. But I’d like to do a post similar to this one, Wendy! But I don’t think I can be as funny as you =)

Hi Wendy B! Thanks for stopping by my blog today and leading me to yours. I LOVE it!

This is a hilarious idea—it’s good to know that I’m not the only one with weird search terms leading to my blog. Once I did a post titled “muffin porn”…and you can imagine my surprise to learn that a lot of people out there are looking for muffin porn, though I have a feeling they are disappointed when they arrive at my post and discover only a recipe for blueberry crumble muffins. I’m not sure I want to know what they actually have in mind!

I absolutely LOVE this idea and have to steal it. Every night my hubby and I laugh hystericallty at some of the searches that lead to my blog. I get alot of “real dead people” for necrophiliacs(sp?) out there!

Inadvertently Ask Daddy Likey is one of my favourite features. And hey, some of us hostel-staying tourists do wash our hair regularly. 😉
