Fierce Prada Shoe

October 24, 2008 by WendyB

Love the fin on the back and the beige strap across the instep. (I don’t own this shoe, am just sharing the picture.)

I believe this is the only shoe from this range that I like. The others seem too impractical or even unattractive. And I normally love a Prada shoe. Ho hum…

Extremely elegant, for me it has a very forties feel, I can picture Marlene Dietrich or Greta Garbo in that shoe.
PS What’s a bumshirt? Just wondering, ‘cos that’s the word verification on this comment:)

Bronwyn, I believe a bumshirt is what I’m wearing right now! Also bumleggings and bumhair and bumpedicure.

I might love these more than puppies. OK, no, that’s just foolishness, I couldn’t love anything more than puppies, but the shoes are stunning!

It would be better without the beige strap. Reminds me of a bandaid.

I feel stupid asking this question but what is that ring thing in the middle of the shoe? Is that part of the design?

I think one could somehow fly in those shoes. Me going crazy?!

  24. WendyB says

    October 24, 2008 at 8:36 pm

Songy, it’s a strap that goes across the instep…it also helps keep the shoe on when you’re flying 😀

I like it, but I’m scared of the height.

Coco would look delish in those.

I was going to do a post about how the shoes from this collection seemed very Ayn Rand/The Fountainhead to me… but I never got around to it.

    eh!.

BTW miss cavendish – I think it is actually a peep-toe, not a snub nose pump.

After over-indulging in the earlier Prada/Miu Miu season I didn’t get anything from this one. Although they were pretty. I only really wanted the blue ones.
