Fierce Prada Shoe October 24, 2008 by WendyB Love the fin on the back and the beige strap across the instep. (I don’t own this shoe, am just sharing the picture.) You might also like Backwards HeelGlam Rock Shoes on SaleNo, Really, You Want ME

I believe this is the only shoe from this range that I like. The others seem too impractical or even unattractive. And I normally love a Prada shoe. Ho hum…
Extremely elegant, for me it has a very forties feel, I can picture Marlene Dietrich or Greta Garbo in that shoe.
PS What’s a bumshirt? Just wondering, ‘cos that’s the word verification on this comment:)
Ooooh, I love those fins!
Bronwyn, I believe a bumshirt is what I’m wearing right now! Also bumleggings and bumhair and bumpedicure.
Make Do Style says
Very Greta Garbo indeed.
I might love these more than puppies. OK, no, that’s just foolishness, I couldn’t love anything more than puppies, but the shoes are stunning!
ahhh i loved that collection!!
the shoes reminded me of paintings of cherubs

OOO lala …. 🙂
I like it, but don’t love it. Each to his/her own!
Ladies Who Lunch says
They are gorgeous, however I couldn’t wear them without breaking my neck!
The Seeker says
Oh wow, those are so gorgeous!!!
It would be better without the beige strap. Reminds me of a bandaid.
I’m such a sucker for that nude/black combo of colours, so these make me very happy!
fashion herald says
oh, i’ve totally got bumhair today.
and those shoes, thanks for sharing, they are very “gienve.” (my word verification)
miss cavendish says
I like it except for the snub toe!
wow, those shoes are crazy looking. i’d be teetering like there’s no tomorrow in those.
btw, i got ur recent comment but for some reason that post was acting all funky. so when i edited it, all my comments disappeared. 🙁 didn’t want u think i deleted it or anything. but thank u for the comment. 🙂
I’ve had a soft spot for this mary jane iteration for a few months now. It’s sweet.

ugh. i’m dying over this shoe. stop taunting me, wendyb!
I absolutely adore these shoes. Every time I see them, I’m captivated. Literally.
InstantVintage…”literally”? Are you my sister by any chance? (see: http://wbjewelry.blogspot.com/2008/08/it-came-from-blogosphere.html)
I am such a shoe girl. I giggled with glee inside when I saw this photo.
dying over these!!!
I feel stupid asking this question but what is that ring thing in the middle of the shoe? Is that part of the design?
I think one could somehow fly in those shoes. Me going crazy?!
Songy, it’s a strap that goes across the instep…it also helps keep the shoe on when you’re flying 😀
I like it, but I’m scared of the height.
Coco would look delish in those.
Sharon Rose says
Hi there-I love these shoes….I can see you in these with one of your many vintage pieces!
Princess Poochie says
I was going to do a post about how the shoes from this collection seemed very Ayn Rand/The Fountainhead to me… but I never got around to it.
BTW miss cavendish – I think it is actually a peep-toe, not a snub nose pump.
After over-indulging in the earlier Prada/Miu Miu season I didn’t get anything from this one. Although they were pretty. I only really wanted the blue ones.
Savvy Mode SG says
i like some of the collection ,but can’t say i adore the ruffle in the back.
Jen (MahaloFashion) says
I love a strap like this on shoes, it makes you feel more secure.
