There’s Something About Eve

February 16, 2008 by WendyB

For some reason, ’90s model Eve Salvail is on my mind. She was famous for her shaved head and the dragon tattoo on her scalp.

Here she is with Karl Lagerfeld, back in the days when he used to eat.

Jean Paul Gaultier used her a lot. Below, Eve in a Gaultier ad.

Eve is now a DJ. Here are some links about her:

  • evesalvail.com
  • Eve’s MySpace
  • A story about her sexuality and the violent incident that caused her to quit modeling
  • Eve comes out
  • An old video interview from MTV’s House of Style
  • An Elsa Klensch where-are-they-now video interview. (Funny, I was wondering the same thing about Elsa, the former host of Style With Elsa Klensch on CNN, which had an amazing 20-year run).
  • A 2006 interview with gaywired.com
  • A 2007 story from gaywired.com
  • A funny little item about Naomi Campell’s cell-phone hurling ways.

Separately, greetings to all you peeps visiting me from the “glove lovers” forum! Make yourselves right at home. I’m guessing that you’re a little pervy, but whatevs! I don’t judge.

Well she is gorgeous and I can imagine Angelina Jolie as her girlfriend! But they say you have to fall down to stand up and run again, and opportunities do open up for beautiful people like her not that she sits on her behind and just wait for doors to open up but she actually takes the time out to improve and excel. That’s great, don’t you think?

I remember her and I’ve always liked her from way back then. Another one I like that seems to have been missing from the radar is Irina Pantaeva – such an inspiration!

I dont remember her. maybe i was too young (too hopeful?)

She looks hot, but i still prefer ‘head’ hair on women.
