No, Really, This Is the Last Time

December 2, 2007 by WendyB

I declared I was out of the tag business, but since I am not inspired to write anything else right now, I will answer the tags of Diva in a Carry On and, belatedly, SkyBluePink. I know! I’m such a user.

Seven more facts about me:

  1. I have four stepchildren. The oldest is six months older than I am.
  2. I’m a grandmother! Yes, I plan to have the child call me “Grandma Wendy.”
In L.A. last weekend with grandson, his proud parents and my husband. That baby in the foreground is just a pal, but my bangs are getting so long I may borrow her ribbon.

3. I hate talking on the phone now, but I was always on the phone as a teenager.
4. I studied Spanish for about eight years and got straight A’s but can’t speak a word of it. (I can read a little.)
5. I have a driver’s license but haven’t been behind the wheel in 23 years.
6. Sometimes I wonder if I’ve ever studied for something that I CAN subsequently do.
7. I think bush babies are highlarious.

Can’t get enough WendyB trivia? Here’s more.

  • Sets of four facts

Once again, I’m not going to tag anyone else, but if you WANT to be tagged just let me know and I’ll see what I can do.

Oh, Fashionfix, I heart you. Thank you, JDB! And he didn’t cry at all (though once in a while he made that pre-crying face).

I’m wondering what’ll happen if you ever read your grandkids Peter Pan..
You look great (seriously, how do you manage to make red lipstick look so good?), your grandson is utterly (it needs caps) ADORABLE (sorry for the parentheses OD, but how old is he?), and his mum has lovely hair- I couldn’t help but notice it’s red.

As a grandma, have you started writing fictional stories about the great war to tell the grandkids? Also, have you put aside some quarters and butterscotch candies for birthday gifts?

*please hold while i once more try and photoshop myself into your picture* (just tell your hubby i was there already so he doesn’t get all messed up in the interweb)

i’ve heard of milfs, but are you a gilf to boys all over the country now?

VB, I think it’s Sheer Mulberry by Trish McEvoy (applied very thickly). Floppy, he is 10 months. PAD, no, but I’m trying to cultivate that “old lady smell” and collecting doilies. PPIEW, I always wonder that if a girl has a baby at the age of 15, is she a MILF or just a hot chick with a baby? Does MILF imply motherhood PLUS a certain age or can even the very young be MILFs. Why are there no FILFs? I guess men must get really ugly after they have kids because no one wants to F fathers.

When I read “bush babies”, I first interpreted that as Jenna and Barbara. We’re good though now, I gotcha.
    😎 < bush smilies?

wow i never thought of filfs. they must really be a minority. huh? i guess that’s why prostitution should be legalized.

as for milf-requisites: i think you just have to be HOT and have a title. for example: cute “soccer mom” beats “queen elizabeth”. it’s like chess, but with less rules.

    Hola, Wendy, que tal?

I used to write a syndicated column about Formula One, but I don’t have a driver’s license.

I saw a live mouse at a Piaget boutique today! It lives there. It’s crazy about interior design in his (her?) tiny home.

You haven’t been behind the wheel in 23 years??? You lucky woman!!! I wish I didn’t have to drive as well 🙂

I hate talking on the phone too… 5 mins into a conversation, regardless if its personal or for work, I start fidgeting and feel like my ear’s on fire!
