I must confess: I love the cute!

Order them at
Eleni’s.

If you’re ever in Sausalito, Calif., you must go here. This store is packed with huge selection of cute novelty gifts. I got a tiny plastic horse plus a pig, cow and duck that were even smaller. I think they were from the “50-cent choking hazards” department. I also got a miniature lucky cat, which was an excellent business investment for just 99 cents.

This isn’t my lucky cat, but it’s still cute. Available at JapaneseGifts.com.

Separately, thank you to Moira of Dog Art Today for mentioning my Isabella necklaces. Even better, Moira pointed out a cute dog outfit in a painting I had posted. I didn’t even notice it! Discover her attention to detail by clicking here. Thanks also to the queen of cute, the super-kawaii Olga, for following in the piscine footsteps of eagle-eyed Big Glasses Girl and advertising my quest for fish feet. Anyone else like to take up my cause?

Adorable! What a nice way to start the day… Hamsters really take the cake. Meerkats too. Have you seen Meerkat Manor? The show is kind of eh for me, but they are too adorable not to stare at for half hour blocks!

I haven’t watched the Meerkat show, but I did read there was tragedy when one of the lady Meerkats got taken out by a snake! I do like the way they look in pictures…standing up and looking around like funny little people.

It was actually a fella Meerkat and it was tragic. I almost wept!
Also, as we sit on the couch, this is the general dialogue:
    Me: tapping bf on shoulder
    Him: Yes?
    Me: I want one.
    Him: Raises eyebrows.
Five minutes later, the meerkats get into a fight and seem very vicious.
Me: Okay, I don’t want one anymore.

I also enjoy the standing up and looking like little people aspect.

ROTFLMAO @ IYF! That sorta happened to me with my friend’s ex-parrot. She was packing up to move to Saipan and Rodney was going to have to fly solo. He was sitting around chuckling to himself in a cute, quiet way. I said, “He’s so nice, why can’t he fly in the cabin?” at which point he started screaming like a fire engine siren. Deb calmly said, “That’s why.”

LOL!! Gotta hand it to those calm parrot owners. I think people who own birds have some sort of genetic pre disposition to be amazingly patient.

PS: hope you’re not offended though, it’s just a tongue in cheek mention on a very unserious blog 😉 The design is seriously unique and awesome.
