Take Good Care of Your Acne

August 14, 2007 by WendyB

I’ve mentioned Acne Jeans a lot, but I forgot to give you an important warning. Wash the jeans as infrequently as possible (a good recommendation for all jeans unless you are striving for the broken-in look) and when you do wash them….hand-wash! With my first pair of these jeans, I debated the cleaning process for months and finally took them to a dry cleaner, as suggested by the label. They shrank in a big way and I had to give them to a friend’s very skinny daughter. Now I won’t even put them in the washing machine. Very inconvenient, and definitely a drawback for this brand. Bad, bad Acne! Separately, if you’re looking to do a little online shopping, Seven New York has some amazing and hard-to-find designers, including Three as Four. Pictured in this post: Three as Four’s “Swirly” Reversible Stretch Jean, now on sale. A lot of items at Seven are sold out but there are some good sale prices too.

I never understood why certain jeans cost so much. I am a curvy, plus-size diva and I have no problem finding jeans (I have too many). Sorry, I know that was not the point of your post, but the jeans mentioned are expensive.

Yep, they are expensive. For Three as Four presumably that’s in part because they’re doing them in very low quantities. The more you make of something, the cheaper it gets. If you’re like the Gap and can afford to contract with factories overseas to produce tens of thousands of pieces, you have major cost savings.

So are u going to get new jeans soon? I usually handwash all my jeans, and only soak it in soapy water for 15 minutes max! 🙂
