Star Sighting

August 27, 2007 by WendyB

My dog walker met actress Leslie Caron of “Gigi” fame in my apartment building last week. He told her that he and his roommate had cleared their calendars to watch her recent Law & Order episode and she said, “I can’t believe I’m almost 80 and still have a fan base!” I’m so disappointed that I didn’t get to tell her I named my first company Gigi Caron. And the dog walker didn’t even have my dog Gigi with him at the time! Though maybe Leslie Caron wouldn’t have been flattered to meet Gigi, considering the latter is clearly not a genius. This is my favorite picture of Gigi. She looks like she has the IQ of a pillow, doesn’t she? You have to enlarge the picture to really appreciate her stuffed-animal-like expression.

I was delighted to catch that LAW & ORDER show and see Mme. Caron again!
She is/was ALWAYS smart as a whip!
Why your dog walker didn’t run to get your hound or put in a word is a fireable offense IMO 🙁
    Grrrrrrr

Her floppy tongue is my favorite feature! (The floppy tongue of the dog, not of Leslie Caron)

wow, well, maybe you’ll spot her soon enough! that’s so cool.

oh my goodness… gigi is adorable. and be thankful your she’s got the iq of a pillow, i used to think my older cat was really good, until i got the kitten who’s smarter. oh dear, now i see the cat isn’t good, she’s just dumb.

Sadly, Gigi is both dim-witted and evil! The worst combination!

Poor Leslie Caron getting dragged into this whole floppy tongue situation. One can only hope tha she doesn’t google herself.

In addition to her floppy tongue, one of Gigi’s most interesting characteristics is her love/hate relationship with the vacuum cleaner.

She’s a cutie and who is GiGi Caron, I do not have the patience to watch old movies (especially since they usually make fun of minorities)?

Leslie Caron starred in the movie “Gigi,” based on the book by Colette. As I recall, there’s nothing offensive in that movie.
