Do You Take This to Be Your Postage?

December 3, 2007 by WendyB

I went to the post office to mail some of my new catalogs and found this delightful stamp.

I was very pleased. Who could resist buying from a jewelry catalog that was adorned with such a beautiful stamp? I was so happy that I looked it up online to share it with you peeps, thereby discovering that this design is named “Wedding Hearts.” Hmmm. I suppose that’s fine but it wasn’t what I expected. I guess it was silly to hope that the design would be named “I Heart WendyB Jewelry.” Yeah, that was probably unrealistic.

I want to assure everyone who gets the catalog that you don’t need a wedding or even a heart to justify buying some nice jewelry! All you need is good taste and a credit card.

There you go – there is your million dollar idea – not that your jewelry isn’t fabulous enough to net you millions

BUT…it would be quite funny if we could make our own postage stamps.

Mine would say : This mail was sent to you by the coolest person ever…or something along those lines 😉 – or bronze this letter it was sent to you by someone fabulous

Last year, I made stamps with my CHINESE DOGS on them via zazzle.com. How crazy would it be to make a stamp with your own face on it and use it for your holiday cards. People would be like, “Don’t open that card; bitch is crazy.” “How do you know?” “Didn’t you see the stamp?!” “Hot damn! Is that her face? Put the Hallmark down and back away sloooooooooowly.”

I LOVE your jewelry, but I just quickly glanced at your various blogs and they are fun, interesting and varied which makes it NOT BORING at all….I think you are very creative and thanks for your blog!
