I’m sharing this week’s YouTube video a couple of days earlier than usual because it’s inspired by today’s solar eclipse.
Sun- and moon-themed jewelry is quite common. In the sun category, I’ve had my Gloriana necklace style around for a long time. Usually I prefer the 18K yellow gold version, but white gold is nice too! Plus, the white gold style is one-of-a-kind.
Another one-of-a-kind design — this one is platinum — is from moon territory: my stunning Luna ring with a big, black pearl and nearly two carats of diamonds.
A third one-of-a-kind design is the brand-new, moon-inspired Selene necklace in 18K white gold with a big moonstone and accent diamonds. I’m wearing it in today’s video.
You can take a longer look at the pendant now. It does include a 20″ 18K white gold chain. As I said, if you’re interested in it, email me at info at wendybrandes dot com. I’m happy to take more photos of it too.
I’m a little disappointed that I’m not on the cruise ship where Bonnie Tyler will be singing her 1983 hit “Total Eclipse of the Heart.” (1983 was such a good year for music.) But I prefer the “literal video” version better, with lyrics like “I pull my feathered hair whenever I see floating cloth.” Check it out now — it’s brilliant!
Now get out there and safely enjoy the real-life eclipse (unless you’re a Nazi).
