I normally wear my hair as straight as I can get it, but I will wear it wavy/curly for a special occasion. I just came across this photo, taken on New Year’s Eve 2004.
It would have been nice of my photographer, MrB, to tell me that one of the little satin loops sewn inside the halter was sticking out, but I guess I should be thankful that I got a still photo at all. Sometimes MrB takes unwanted videos instead of regular pictures. I don’t have this halter top now, but I wore it for quite a few years. I think it was by Trina Turk and I’m quite sure it was a birthday gift from my gorgeous friend Diane.
Ten years later, I went a bit curlier for New Year’s Eve.
I would happily go curly for non-special occasions, but it’s too much work! It’s much easier to straighten. I did enjoy having a super-curly perm in 1995 though.
