The story says: “Top off spring bridal styles with luxurious violet-hued jewels and gemstones.” I think that’s a great idea. Color livens up a traditional wedding look. When my famously pink-loving friend Shawn got married in 2012, her dress was gorgeous but the pink shoes were so “her” that they made me smile. That same year, a blue bridal gown by Oscar de la Renta took my breath away. I still think that dress would justify a very fancy vow-renewal ceremony for me and MrB.

Earrings fit for a “princess bride”…or a queen, I guess!! 😉
I checked out that Oscar de la Renta wedding dress, too…maybe he would do it up in purple for you, to match the earrings?! I totally think a fabulous gown is reason enough for a vow renewal ceremony (besides the significance of the actual vow renewal, of course!!)
