Good Customers and Bad Customers

December 27, 2012 by WendyB

I was going to share some insane emails — verbatim — from a would-be customer but I decided to spare you normal people the foolishness. (But if any crazy people happen to be reading this, make a note to yourselves: I don’t have to do any custom work that I don’t want to, and if you start an inquiry with “This is bull!” and then ask me about “co$t,” I’m not going to do a damn thing. It doesn’t matter if you’re a celebrity or a billionaire. You’re still not worth it.)

Instead, let’s visit gorgeous blogger Susan Partlan, who got my one-of-a-kind Barbara necklace — in black diamonds and quartz — for the holidays and wrote a very lovely and funny post about it.

So happy that you’re enjoying the necklace, Susan! And we picked the right chain length, too.

UPDATED TO ADD: A few peeps have sent me some of their outrageous bad-customer stories. Send yours to wbjewelry at hotmail dot com and I’ll do a big post on the wide range of bad customer behavior!

Please publish the foolishness from the insane emails! It would amuse us, and I believe we need to publicly shame those who engage in intentional bad behavior. Well, hold up a mirror to their behavior, at least. Love Susan’s post on her jewelry.

LOL…it’s just so depressing and weird, while Susan’s post is so happy! Love her hubby’s vest and his comment about it.

Ooo that would make my blood boil! I have loads, but I don’t think the fashion community wants to hear about the seemingly normal people who used to come in asking for not only illegal substances, but downright immoral substances! XXX

Susan’s post is so awesome. I’ve really wanted to see your pieces on a body. Jewelry is beautiful being able to see all the details, but it’s elevated when being worn and loved.

Gorgeous necklace and drop earrings – the light! Great vest and cufflinks too. I like how you highlighted an awesomely hilarious good-customer post. The contrast will be all that much more marked and bizarre. 🙂
