Mother’s Day Jewelry Sale: 50% Off Select Gold Pieces

April 26, 2012 by WendyB

Mother’s Day is May 13. Now is the time to get yo mama (or yoself) something extra-special. I’m putting three one-of-a-kind 18K gold jewelry designs on sale for 50% off now through May 12.

The 18K white-gold Primavera ring is set with a dappled, custom-cut chalcedony. I like to include interesting details in my jewelry, so there’s a tiny 18K yellow-gold flower on each side. Each flower is set with a diamond.

Primavera ring. Was $3,750. Now $1,875. Click to purchase.

I’m amazed that I still have this ring. When I show my collection to magazine editors, this is often the first piece they try on. Then they keep on through the whole meeting. I practically have to frisk people before I leave. I have one size 6 ring available. I can adjust the size up or down slightly for an additional fee. UPDATED 4/29/12: THE RING HAS BEEN SOLD.

The Barbara necklace is named after my own mother, BarbaraB. Don’t worry! BarbaraB won’t come after you if you buy this. She gets plenty of Wendy Brandes jewelry. The Barbara necklace’s 1 1/2″ pendant features a cabochon cut from tourmalinated quartz — that’s a clear quartz stone with strands of black tourmaline running through it. If you’re into crystals, you should know that some people believe tourmalinated quartz has healing properties. The quartz is surrounded by black diamonds set in 18K white gold and hangs from a 16″ chain.

If you need a longer chain, you can have one for an additional fee. That applies to all necklaces.

This adorable roly-poly owl pendant is made of rock crystal. The eyes and beak are onyx. He was hand-carved in Germany by one of my favorite gem carvers. The 18K yellow-gold chain is 16″ long.

The flower-like 18K yellow-gold setting was handmade; I wanted the pendant to be equally beautiful on both sides. I also wanted the wearer to be able to see the natural texture of the crystal on the back.

The setting inspired my Lotus necklace design.

As a bonus, here is a sterling-silver design on sale. A silver bat (or Batman) catches some upside-down ZZZs on a slice of polished agate.

Bat necklace with agate. Was $1,000. Now $500. Click to purchase.

The sterling-silver chain is 16″ long.

There are a few other sale items here. If you have any questions, email me at wbjewelry at hotmail dot com. I do ship internationally; we can discuss that by email.

I’m fascinated by that owl pendant; it’s so clever, as is the bat necklace.

Your mom is a lucky lady! 🙂

I am so obsessed with this owl necklace. So cute, elegant, and tough, all at the same time. Gorgeous.
