First Glimpse: Memento Mori Ring in Silver

August 3, 2011 by WendyB

Here’s an iPhone photo of my first Memento Mori ring in silver.

As you can see, my “47th Street” manicure by Tracylee Percival is holding up pretty well a week after I got it. I’ve lost a couple of nail jewels but have held on to the majority of them. Tracylee set the jewels in a layer of Gelish topcoat and painted another layer of topcoat over them. I’m getting very good results from gel manicures.

It would have been funnier if they left little “Gone fishin'” signs.

Too cute. I love silver, and your Memento Mori skulls are the most unique shape I’ve seen in skull jewelry.

How can a skull be cute? But it is, and I love it on your bejeweled hand.

I love the ring!I do love a skull motif. Nails look good, wish I could find someone in Melbourne to do that. I have no idea, although I have been using the Sally Hansen Salon Effects stick ons to great effect.

Oooooh! I got it! A Memento Mori manicure! You can use the indentations from the missing jewels as places to paint black eye holes. 😀

I am taking orders on them now! The first one is spoken for, but I’ll have another size 6 coming up the week after next and, of course, any custom sizes requested.
