Swimming in Creativity

July 21, 2009 by WendyB

I’ve developed a graffiti obsession. So I was totally craving this stupendous vintage graffiti bathing suit from Rice and Beans Vintage.

If it weren’t so difficult to get the fit right on a bathing suit — challenging enough in person but more so online — I would have bought it immediately. Someone else was braver than I and got it! I think I have non-buyer’s remorse. Yeah, I definitely do. Somebody hold me!

Ooh, I am sorry. I know it feels like you will never love another bathing suit like you loved this one, but trust me there are more out there. Hold your head up high and just wait, they will come to you.

LOL, sorry I just had a piece of chocolate, sugar rush!

Oh I recognize that non-buyer’s remorse. Wasn’t it what drove you back to CFR for the zigzag dress? 😉

ooh I hate non-buyers remorse, it makes me feel obsessive. Try to forget! Move on, plenty more bathing suits in the sea!! 🙂

That is one fantastic looking one piece. Love that my Anti-spam word is Paris – isn’t that where you just came back from

there there, darling.. It just wasn’t meant to be..

Now perhaps you can get CFR to design one for you? Or for the masses?

wow…the coolest bathing suit ever! wish it came in a 2 piece…1 pieces are not my friend.

  14. WendyB says

    July 21, 2009 at 11:23 am

Nina, that was my hesitation too. I think it’s so much easier to find a bikini that fits than to find a one piece.

That is a pretty cool bathing suit. The neckline for some reason really bothers me… As for myself and bathing suits, I prefer the bandeau two piece to maximize sun exposure!

  18. WendyB says

    July 21, 2009 at 12:06 pm

@ Dreamsequins, yeah, that is NOT a flattering neckline. You’d have to wear this for the print alone!

Faux graffiti fabric is great. Not sure if I should try to make a graffiti shirt with real spray paint though. At least, not inside.

I think that the first graffiti in the pool was done by David Hockney. But, now thanks to CFR you can take the graffiti to the beach too.

Dammit, I love that. So much so that I am feeling remorse on top of your remorse! You could have always framed it and hung it on the wall trophy head style.

You could always console yourself with a new toy:

Ahhhhhhhh, I hate trying on swimsuits yet it’s so necessary. After looking at the pics of myself recently I realized the outfit post is going to have to wait a bit. I need to step up the workouts. Chubsville. Ah ha

Sorry! I have to comment again so that I can use the Anti-spam word that popped up–madqueen.

It’s perfect for the only one I know who could be a mad queen–that’s our WendyB. Sometimes she’s mad, as in angry. Sometimes she’s mad, as in mad-cap-life-loving. All of the time, she’s the queen!
