Designer and Muse?

April 17, 2009 by WendyB

Gala Mitchell was one of designer Ossie Clark‘s favorite models. I’m not sure it’s accurate to describe her as his muse — or one of his muses — but she’s definitely striking the right pose in this great picture.

Gala’s hair and eyebrows make her look like the lovechild of Magenta and Columbia from The Rocky Horror Picture Show. And in the picture above, Ossie’s hair makes him look like Frank-N-Furter. Hmmm. Maybe the designer was a muse himself.
