Better to Have Loved and Lost

January 23, 2009 by WendyB

Why didn’t you bitches tell me that my 60-year-old, African-American identical twin was on Jimmy Kimmel Live? I would have skipped a Law & Order rerun or ten to check out security guard Veatrice Rice, whom I discovered only after she died of cancer. Someday, I hope to be remembered as Jimmy remembers Veatrice while introducing this tribute clip: “Our security guard Veatrice was not a sentimental person…but … actually she had a very foul mouth, to be honest with you.”

1:54 to John McCain: “F— you, old man! Back to you a——- in the studio.”
(Thanks to Dlisted for showing me what I missed)

I’m very sorry about the loss of your sister you had never met and quite possibly may not have been related to in any way other than being kindred souls. Time heals all wounds.
