Hotness

December 28, 2008 by WendyB

When I had a fever the other night, I was inspired to search for a video of the late, great Peggy Lee singing Fever.

I love her facial expressions and overall ‘tude.

My Mother used to slink around singing this song. I LOVE it. Hope you feel better. I fell down our stairs yesterday…thank god no one saw me! Slid all the way down on my ass. Not very dignified!

Do you know (and I’m sure you didn’t but you do now) that I went to a wedding reception for one of the most conservative couples EVER and this was their first dance? It was shocking and amazingly fun because you never saw it coming. Feel better!

JDS, I love that your mother used to slink. I should do more slinking. I hope you and your dignity aren’t too bruised from your fall.

KT, just goes to show you, those conservative peeps get up to crazy hijinks behind closed doors (and on the dance floor).

A classic for a reason. And gawd, hope that fever is long gone, lady … sick over the holidays is the WORST.

The ‘do, the sparly sleeves and bust… the saucy, haughty ‘tude… Fierceness personified.

She always makes me think of the sassy stray she voiced in The Lady and the Tramp.
