December 4, 2008 by WendyB

I dare you to be in a bad mood while wearing this vintage dress.

I bet you’re in a better mood just looking at it! Now for some Partridge Family to put you right over the top.

Yup it says go-go boots to me too. 🙂 I hope it’s not crimplene or polyester. Horror! Cute though. I’m all about vintage dresses from the 60s and 70s!

Kira, I always send people to Frock on Orchard Street and Allan & Suzi on the Upper West Side:

I've gotten a lot of great stuff at both of those.

That’s another ‘artwork’ piece I think. I’m sure some boffins can hide you and the dress in many artworks.

Good point, Songy. Maybe I can lurk in one of those psychedelic ’60s concert posters.

this reminds me of a dress i have! i’ve had it since the ’80s and when i bought it then it was very trippy-flower-child. i wish i still had the purple and black zebra print tote bag that i bought from the same shop around the same time. i have worn the dress only a handful of times but it’s a keeper and might have to come out for a showing with tights and boots. . .
