Feel Like an Egyptian Queen, For Less

December 4, 2008 by WendyB

Crazy-ass psychic Miss Cleo and her psychic friends see some earrings in your future.

That’s Miss Cleo but don’t call that number.

Luckily for you, a fan of my gold-and-diamond, shoulder-brushing Cleopatra Earrings asked me to make a more affordable version.

The original Cleopatra Earrings
© Wendy Brandes 2007-2009

So I did! They’re so new I don’t have a good photo of them yet, but the new Cleopatras are sterling silver with a matte finish … no stones, of course. They’re $450, but if you buy them before Christmas, I’ll give you 20% off. If you’re thinking of wearing a BBD (boring black dress) for the holidays despite my instructions, these spectacular and surprisingly lightweight earrings will make your look. Trust WendyB!

America’s Next Top Model winner Jaslene wore the originals at my trunk show.

Email me at wbjewelry at hotmail dot com for more information. Act quickly! I only have one pair in stock.

UPDATED TO ADD: This is what they look like.

I just called Ms. Cleo and she told me that a lot of money is coming to me and that I should hold out for the gold ones. Silver is lovely but I am a gold gal.

ooh. i love them. i love earrings that brush the shoulders. maybe you could make some earrings that massage the shoulders…especially in this economic downturn – we’re all looking for something with a little something extra. just a thought.

Those earrings are amazing! I love wearing earrings because I get the feeling that they change my face from normal-looking to pretty and semi-“exotic” (i.e. Egyptian) looking. This is probably utter nonsense but I think it just the same.

Very cool. I would consider them if I wore earrings. I will always be a WendyB ring girl (some day).

BTW, are you familiar with the Dog Jewelry Museum. Its founder just emailed me this morning and I featured their “Walking the Dog” calendar on my site today…

    http://dreamdogsart.typepad.com/art/2008/12/dog-art-calendar-addendum-the-dog-jewelry-museum-calendar.html

How about a new line of Queen’s dogs or Queen’s with their dogs…Elizabeth and her Corgis, Cleopatra and her Ibizan Hound, Princess Grace and her Poodle, Queen Maeve and her Irish Wolfhound (I guessed on the last one) but you get the idea.

    : )

I worked for “miss cleo” for about 3 days. I felt like shit taking money from people who really just needed someone to listen to them.

Though the lady who hung up on me because I was *not* Miss Cleo just cracked me up. I was tempted to use some crazy ass accent to lure her back in.

How beautiful! Love the earrings they are very unique.
