Human and Canine Outfits

November 4, 2008 by WendyB

I went to a dinner on Monday wearing some homegrown vintage.

Dolce & Gabbana jacket
YSL skirt
Manolo Blahnik over-the-knee boots
Ugly hallway: priceless

The jacket is part of an evening suit that I got in 2003. I believe the skirt and boots are from the same year, but I’m not positive. I think all the pieces are aging pretty well.

Now I’m about to go to an Election Night party in serious vintage. I’m wearing an Ossie Clark that is so nice, I bought it twice. Click on the picture below to see AltamiraNYC’s photo of me in a different version of the same dress.

This one was a bargain on eBay; I didn’t expect my snipe to win.

My vote for the most stylish member of the household goes to Henry the dog, who got his bandages changed at the animal hospital today. The doctors made him a special bandage with a heart on it. Isn’t that lovely?

The surgical team said his foot is healing nicely and that they’ll check it again next week.
