Posh in PVC

September 29, 2008 by WendyB

I’m in latex heaven! Victoria Beckham blew me away with these thigh-high, heel-less, shiny boots.

I love her willingness to go to fashion extremes. I’d love her even more if she threw some Wendy Brandes jewelry into the mix!

at Macy’s Herald Square! i was across the street but could not bring myself to suffer the crazy lines and crowd. and I love how she goes to extremes also, those boots are a lot surreal and would look great with some Wendy B skull jewelry.

Gee, good thing she’s got her David to hang onto so she doesn’t topple over. Those boots look crazy!

I want to see her walk in those things. I am confused??? They are sort of like point boots. Your jewelry might help to give her some balance and stability.

    September 29, 2008 at 8:54 am

is her heel even supported? it’s like she’s tip-toeing. kudos to her!

  8. Step Right Up says

    September 29, 2008 at 8:58 am

I’m confused. Where are the heels on those boots?
I like David B. I do not like the pinstripe suit.

She’s like a fashion robot from the future and I mean that in the best way.

Miss J loves her sassy new short haircut… Has WendyB tried this type of boot on? Miss Janmey wonders how they are to get around in.

weirdly finding her less obnoxious with the new hair. And I guess the boots are showing her willingness to push boundaries?

Their fashion defiance of the laws of physics somewhat baffles me. But yes, Posh works ’em.

    September 29, 2008 at 11:06 am

Mr. Beckham sure can fill out a three piece suit…what’s that? This post was about Posh?

  16. lisa says

    September 29, 2008 at 11:25 am

Wow, heel-less…how does that work? Would you have to stand on the balls of your feet the entire evening? I imagine resting your weight on your heels might cause you to tip over, no?

  17. coco says

    September 29, 2008 at 11:34 am

If anyone was going to try them it would be Posh.

  18. Sharon Rose says

i was seriously hoping that if i looked closely enough, i’d be able to make out a glass heel that she was balancing on…no such luck. these look painfully chic.

  21. quoththeraven says

    September 29, 2008 at 12:46 pm

Who makes those and how on earth do you walk in them? But I guess if you’re Posh, and you’re used to walking around in stilettos, it’s no big deal.

  22. Ashe Mischief says

    September 29, 2008 at 1:04 pm

What an amazing looking couple. And Posh is like… an effing acrobat in those shoes. I love how she paired them with a very tailored and classic gown for that “ironic” look.

  23. Make Do and Mend says

    September 29, 2008 at 1:33 pm

I’d put ’em on just for David to take them off! That’s Victoria (Posh) speaking….

  24. Skye says

    September 29, 2008 at 1:34 pm

Posh is the best – love it all for just being so ridiculously OTT.

  25. Sally Jane says

  26. KD says

    September 29, 2008 at 2:43 pm

Those are cool but how on earth can she walk?!?! And not to sound like an impatient brat, but do you know what else I’m going to ask you? (see my latest post for an answer . . .)

  27. Savvy Mode SG says

    September 29, 2008 at 2:48 pm

cool in theory but how does a gal walk in those heels. i am curious to try it out.

The only way Miss V could possibly improve her look would be with scads of WendyB jewels.

Those boots are the absolute living end.

  29. Muriel Mercurial says

    September 29, 2008 at 3:15 pm

Those boots are actually all kinds of awesome – even though I’d be afraid to wear them in everyday life.

  30. esme and the lane way says

    September 29, 2008 at 3:36 pm

They are kind of cool – I’m not sure I could don them for tips to the supermarket but she has the occasions… I actually like them being so unusual and sculptural. I’d need them toned down for real life.

I’m no scientist, but shouldn’t gravity have some effect where the heel should be? I’m so confused

  35. Susanna-Cole says

    September 29, 2008 at 5:10 pm

Wow, maybe I’ve just been under a rock, but I didn’t even know heel-less high-heels existed! Have you ever tried on a pair, do you know if they’re hard to balance standing on? I’m curious now!

Perhaps you should her some of her jewelry, and she’ll wear it on the red carpet! You never know! 🙂

    xoxo,
    S-C
