Oh, You Lacy Girl!

September 2, 2008 by WendyB

After being a hot source of latex-look leggings, Kova & T has moved on to lace. I’ve posted the skirt or the leggings, but my favorite is this sex-ay lace dress.

Kova & T Renata lace dress
$352 on Shopbop

If you prefer just a touch of lace, take a look at this beautiful Viktor & Rolf skirt on eBay.

If you bid, don’t forget to snipe!

If you want something one-of-a-kind, take a look at this fabulous vintage jacket.

$275 at C Madeleine’s

UPDATED TO ADD: Here’s a link to a New York Times story on Kova & T’s designer.

UPDATED AGAIN TO ADD: Usually when I show a few items like this, it is just because I want to share it. But I did get really fond of the Viktor & Rolf skirt, so I sniped and won!

    Hi! Wendy,

Thanks for such a beautiful and sexy lace dress. Though I have seen young girls wearing such dresses all around over here, I am sure this can be used by even those who are in their in the latter half of their 20’s.

Gorgeous! Was it Prada started all this lace craze or someone else do you think?

That yellow jacket is to die for! I can tell I’m going to be so sick of lace before long though, I shall probably rebel and wear something else all winter! 😉

lace dresses are indeed sexy but i find that the more one is covered in it the more sexier the image, isn’t that funny?!

Wow. That skirt gives me such inspiration. I can see a future project involving a thrifted skirt, lace tablecloth or curtains, and a pair of scissors…. Thanks!

The dress is really great. I love the ’80s vibe. The skirt is sweet, too, just enough lace to work the trend, and not so much that it’s . . . too much.

The V&R skirt appears to be a clear favourite and I understand why; it's truly beautiful. Makes me happy just to look at it…

What a fab dress! I just bought a Vivienne Tam lace blazer from Gilt and I can hardly wait to wear it 🙂

PS If you see me in the tents over the next few days, you MUST say hi!

I’m devastated the lace dress was exactly the lace dress I was looking for, but it’s out of stock.
