    nice can-o-spam.
I once bought a used car from a Spam salesman.
He was a regional success for selling Spam.
He even had a room about the size of a small office, in his home with all kinds of Spam nostalgia and gimmicks and giveaways. After I purchased the car, we went to that office and after giving me the title to the car, he gave me a can of Spam.
    The car?
Was the famous 1999 Chevy Lumina Mrs.O and I laugh about almost daily!
Hope you had fun in LA and San Diego!
    Ciao-for-now!
    Mr.O

I hate spammers, but I love spam (the edible kind)! Actually, it’s a bit embarrassing how much I love spam (fry a slice of it and place it between two pieces of toasted wonderbread – yummmm….). My friends are constantly making fun of me for my love of spam, but I can’t deny it. And now they sell spam in individual slices! It can’t get any better than that!

I actually had Spam for the first time EVER this past weekend…at a wedding, no less. The groom is Hawaiian and loves Spam with a passion, so they had a Hawaiian buffet at their rehearsal dinner that included, basically, Spam sushi. So weird I had to try it. And I gotta say, it was unremarkable. Bland, sort of ham-tasting but only sort of, and rather mushy. Nothing to write home about. The kitsch value, on the other hand, is absolutely through the roof.

    Damn spammers.

In other news, I was surprised to learn recently that Spam (the luncheon meat) sales have skyrocketed recently. I thought it was just the state of the economy, but it could be your unintentional plug 🙂
