Thank You, Ladies!

June 30, 2008 by WendyB

I’ve been remiss about expressing gratitude for some recent link love. First, thanks to gorgeous blogger Somlynn for featuring me on Phoenix Picks.

Also, gorgeous blogger Fabulous Girl came to my recent trunk show and gave me a good review (phew!).

Speaking of reviews, check out this hilarious takedown of Angelina Jolie’s new movie. But the movie is performing well at the box office so I guess Ms. Jolie will (as Ray Romano used to say) go cry about her bad review on a bag of money. Then she can spend the tear-stained money on some jewelry. I vote for one inscribed Victoria Buckle Ring per child.

If you’re going to see a movie, I recommend Wall-E.

the buckle ring is adorable. Maybe you could make a custom gold leash for Angelina since she’s got so many kids (already plus the twins)?

Moving pictures are but a passing fad. The real future’s in flea circuses.

I haven’t heard much about the Angelina movie, but I kind of think I wouldn’t mind watching her do an extended remake of ‘Gigli.’ She is just so watchable.

Pistols at Dawn, a flea circus comeback would be awesome!

That buckle ring is so fantastic, I love it! I have to watch Wanted mainly because of James McAvoy and also Common :D. I’m a little apprehensive about Wall-E though because he’s so cute and happy, I know there’ll be a sad part and I’ll end up crying somehow!

I SOOOO want to see Wall-E. BTW— love the ring! Reminds me of a watch ring I had as a teenager. And oh—! Would you like to trade links?

    Gorgeous, gorgeous – as always.

Must admit that I just couldn’t find an emotional entry point in Wall-E. Since the rest of the world adored it, I wonder if I’ve become emotionally stunted.

Say, any chance I can hop onto your “thanks for mentioning” list? Member this? http://alreadypretty.blogspot.com/2008/06/this-week-i-love_16.html I’d be supah grateful!

Pug Mom and I have been having a lovely discourse on the whole “Wanted” movie. What can I say?? The director of Nightwatch/Daywatch.. I should have known better. 4 hours of my life that I will NEVER get back… *sob*!!

Now.. Wall-E.. I’m SO going to see that this weekend. Ranger has suggested a movie night of catching Hancock and Wall-E back to back. I love that man…sigh… hee..he..

    Oooo..and I LOVE the ring.
