Anne Hathaway at the Oscars

February 25, 2008 by WendyB

I’m getting a lot of hits from people searching for Anne Hathaway at the Oscars in both 2007 and 2008. Here’s Anne in 2007, sporting a ravishing boob bow.

Here she is in 2008, looking lovely but sadly bereft of boob bows.

WendyB, wasn’t she brave to wear that shade of red on the red carpet? To me it shows that she knew she’d stand out instead of being swallowed up by the carpet. That’s my story, and I’m stickin’ to it. What a lovely woman wearing beautiful dresses, in both photos.

I too shall miss Flat Stanley. I hope that a substitute enters my life before too long.

I like Anne Hathaway… I liked that shade of red she wore but For some reason the whole design and neckline didnt grab me so much. I dont hate it, but i dont go wow over it either. But she really is a pretty girl!

Go Fug Yourself had excellent commentary on this gown..
Me, I was a little nonplused..whatever that is.
Not at all certain having rosettes looping underarm is good from every angle..Hmmm
At least it was not TOMATO RED like Heigle’s frock.

She also had a butt bow on that first dress — I loved it!

I’d love to be able to wear that shade of red, it’s ravishing, darling!!! Sadly I’m the whitest white girl ever to live and…well no. Just no. 🙁

Thank you for giving me a reason to stare at that lovely bow.

I’m with Susie – the bow dress had something interesting, and it didn’t blend in with the colour of the carpet. I love Anne Hathaway and think she is the most adorable thing ever, but neither of these dresses blew me away. K

What- no points for the boob flowers?

Sans boob bow, she is just not quite as wonderful. Though she is wonderful. She’ll make a great Agent 99, don’t you think?

i liked how the floral “strap” hit at the shoulder, but the way it cut across her chest and stopped at her side seemed off to me in some way I can’t exactly pinpoint. Maybe if the flowers got slightly smaller towards the side…?

    the color is fab!

I don’t think she should have gotten so much flack for the bow dress…The marchesa was fine, but it was a bit demeure…
