Oh, Happy Day!

June 27, 2008 by WendyB

My gorgeous sister, Terri Berry, emailed me to let me know my story made it to the Marie Claire homepage.

I’m almost as noticeable as the bra ad!

If stalking a homepage for you isn’t love, I don’t know what love is.

Wow. You post fast! Those years at Dow Jones working on the ticker clearly worked their magic. Btw, I love the acorn necklace. So clever and fun!

Wendy, every time I read this story I get angry for you. Good for you for bouncing back. But reading your bio makes me realize that going down for the count just isn’t in the cards for you, is it? 🙂

    Rock on girl!

Oh congrats. I’ll keep an eye out in the Australian Marie Clare for it. We often steal articles from the American version. That’s why I don’t buy both because they are often very similar. Who is on the cover of your mag?

Forgot to ask: So what is a reasonable price for 2 carat diamond that is F color, perhaps VS1 and emerald or ascher cut. Tiffany and Cartier want too much!

SG, I wouldn’t expect less than $15K. I would never get a diamond of that quality pre-set. Get a loose diamond and create your own setting. You’ll get a better price.

Yep, there’s nothing like some good sibling love, looking out for your best interests. Glad you enjoyed the sunflowers from Portland, Oregon. I’ll post a couple more soon. Mama says, “Tell her I said hi, too.” She and Duncan are side-by-side on her little recliner.

The acorn necklace is totally brilliant!

Ice, Coco, press? I’m heading for Google right now. Bye.

If you ever go into the card making business the stalking homepage comment would make a great one.

And to answer the unspoken rhetorical question – it is love.
