Interesting Intarsia

June 29, 2008 by WendyB

I’m enthralled by these brightly colored intarsia sweaters from Antoni & Alison.

The purple one is calling my name.

Thanks to Ooh! Shiny! for pointing out Antoni & Alison a couple of months ago.

They make me think of paintings; I’m rather partial to the orange one myself. But $300? Yikes.

These are delightful. And it’s so cool how the same kind of design creates a different effect depending on the shape of the sweater. I want them both!

Fascinating. They’re very well done, must be in a small gauge knit. I really like those colors.

Yep, you’ll look great in that purple and red sweater, WendyB. I found the rest of them at the Web site interesting. What’s that one with oops on it about, though?

I’ve been in love love love with several skirts on their site. But our crummy exchange rate is keeping me from buying. Which stinks because I really want like four of them.

Are you sure that purple number isn’t calling MY name? “Wendy” and “Sally” can sound a lot alike …

Oh, Craig, the usual jeans, probably. (If I were to go for it.) You know I’m not that creative clothing-wise!

The purple may be calling you, W, but I really see you in the orange combo. Would be great with your hair, I think…
