I visited Norway four years ago this month. MrB and I went to Oslo first, then through the fjords to Bergen. It was one of the most beautiful places I’d ever been, and I’ve been wanting to go back since the moment I left.
So sad to see what happened there today.

Oh this is so dreadful. The Norwegian Prime Minister has said “No one will bomb us to silence, no one will shoot us to silence.”
Your pictures are beautiful.

I live in Bergen, and just came back from a visit to Oslo this Sunday. We’re all at a loss of words.

Bergen is lovely — and I’ve never seen rain like that before!

Thank you, Wendy. I’m Norwegian, one of the many struggling to deal with what has happened here. The whole country is in shock and grieving. I’ve been watching the news since it happened yesterday, just sitting here for hours unable to think about anything else. Been trying to distract myself by reading blogs now, it’s not really working. Your sympathy is greatly appreciated, and we know that with the support of each other and our friends in other countries, we will pull through this.
