I love it when my gorgeous clients take beautiful pictures of their new WendyB jewelry. Blogger Beautifully Invisible always amazes me with her photos, thanks to the quality of the photography as well as her lovely hands. I put her picture of my swear rings on my website a while ago.
Beautifully Invisible recently purchased my Buffy the Vampire Slayer-inspired Vampire Diana ring, and once again, I added her photo to my website — you don’t see Tiffany doing anything like that, right?
I only had one ring in stock — as is the case for most of my pieces. It was a size 6, but Beautifully Invisible needed a 7, so I made one for her. I think it took a little over two weeks. Not a bad wait for a made-to-order ring.
You can see other photos taken by customers on my Facebook fan page. Don’t forget to “like” me on Facebook because I like to announce sales and other news there before I do it anywhere else!
Speaking of vampires, season four of True Blood starts June 26.
If you’re a True Blood fan like me, you’re going to want to wear my vampire stake necklace (and June 2010’s Jewel of the Month) at your viewing party. The necklace is still marked at 2010’s price of $95, even though the price of silver has doubled in the past 12 months. As I’ve mentioned on my Facebook page, I’m in the midst of figuring out new prices for all my designs. Many prices will double to keep up with the cost of metal, so if there’s anything you want, get it now before I update the website!

I love that you have a good connection with your customers and use their pictures on your site! And by showing it on real people it gives a much better idea of how it looks on a real body. It makes your stuff so approachable.
I may or maynot have squeed when I saw the Trueblood trailer! I can’t wait for season 4. I still have your stake necklace on my wishlist, some day!

Oh wow, thank you so much for this Wendy! It was my pleasure to do the review, and I am SO honored that you have added my photos to the product pages. You treat your customers like friends which is something that is SO rare to find nowadays, and that is why we keep coming back!
I’ll be wearing my ring and watching the premiere of True Blood for sure!
P.S. I’ll be your hand model anytime!
I love B, hands and all! And I love your work, especially the swear rings. Hugs to you both!

kisses from La Mode En Rose = )
Her hands are beautiful…she should be your permanent hand model.
@BeautifullyInv introduced me to your jewelry on her blog. Love the social media tribute in your pieces… and love your beautiful new hand model! 🙂 Any chance you’ll have pave CZ versions of your social media rings?
If I ever get a big order from a store, sure. It’s too expensive for a very small company to do inexpensive jewelry without major distribution: http://wendybrandes.com/blog/2010/01/get-smart-about-manufacturing/
that ring is pretty fantastic – It makes me totally nostalgic for the days of buffy. I mean, TB is good, completely over the top and has a nice collection of sexy vamps — but Buffy will always be the true love; I so miss Joss’s cheeky sense of humor.
For Those About To Shop says
She does have beautiful hands! And her nail polish choices offset the jewelry nicely!
And of course, my anti-spam word is “vampbill” – lol!
I can’t wait for the new season of True Blood – I hope there is lots of Erik (yummmm) and that Russell comes back. He is so delightfully eeevil.
When Russell invaded the news and then tossed to the weather girl…that was awesome.
