Gorgeous blogger and clothing designer Stacy Lomman presented her Fall/Winter 2011 collection yesterday and it was spectacular! Her Spring 2011 collection of glamorous cocktail dresses was fabulous, but this sportswear-oriented season was even more impressive.
Here’s Stacy’s description of her collection:
“Fall 2011 glamorizes and romanticizes the bold and fearless women of the French Resistance who lead high risk and clandestine lifestyles. Mystery, intrigue and espionage lurk within each piece in the collection. Luxurious fabrics and subdued colors femininize the military influence, thereby enforcing an air of chic strength. While the early 1940’s serve as inspiration, the collection interprets the period into modern and very wearable clothes.”
As with the spring collection, Stacy raised money to buy fabric on Kickstarter. She presented 12 looks totaling 17 pieces … and she designed, draped, cut and sewed every piece with her own hands. What an achievement!
A gray wool jacket with a distressed silver foil print caught my eye.
I have to have it!
If you haven’t gotten a pair of leather shorts yet, Stacy’s got some for you. See those and a few of the other looks on Stacy’s blog. Bookmark her, because she’ll have photos of the full collection coming soon.
