A day after I posted the only known photo of me in sneakers, a package arrived bearing new sneakers! They are an incredibly thoughtful gift from gorgeous soon-to-be-blogging-again ENC (check her blog TOMORROW). When I saw her in L.A. recently, I admired her colorful Onitsuka Tiger sneakers.A I don’t know how she weaseled my shoe size out of me, but when I got back to New York, my very own pair was waiting for me.
They came with a spare pair of purple laces.
Much more stylish than my white New Balance pair.
ENC is one of the most generous people I know. She helps me with Photoshop, prevents me from sending angry emails, bakes muffins for me and now she sends sneakers too. I heart you, ENC! Thank you for everything!

Sweet shoes – sneakers are the last fashion frontier for me actually. I can maybe pull off converse but that’s about the extent of it. Unless I am jogging! But they look fab on you – I oughta get some running shoes like that.
