Does anyone else think that the shape of Dolce & Gabbana’s fur coat bears an alarming resemblance to the monster from Bugs Bunny?
Thank you, gorgeous blogger Gnarlitude Jen, for the post that led me to this important realization.

Oh my god! WTF were they thinking? It does look like you are wearing the Bugs Bunny Monster after he had a pink dye job!
I thought the same very thing and commented on Jen’s original post about it, but my comment’s not there anymore :\ hm
Annie, clearly our great minds think alike! Or maybe your comment just seeped into my brain … 😉
Haha, that’s so funny!
Wow, I was thinking ‘Muppet’ when I saw it, but yes you are absolutely right, lol. Crazy D&G folks…
Oh goodness, did they run out of normal inspiration
I’d tap that coat anyway!
You never know where inspiration comes from……
I must be color blind! I see an awful purple hairball?
I am guessing this fabulous hairball costs $2,700?
Wendy I am 100% sure I’m gonna lose it when I see this coat in person. Gonna shoot like a million photos in the dressing room hahaha & to Annie– no idea why your comment would have disappeared! This comparison is so right on.
GnarJen, be careful D&D doesn’t go all Pam Hogg on your ass!
OMG, I knew what you were talking about even before I saw the picture!!! LOL! Too funny.
That’s hiliarious!
Inspiration for a lot of things come directly from Bugs! I love that hairy weird character. I always think of him as that hairy tooth looking guy.
I call them purple people eaters!
What’s up (with that), Doc? Furry funniness!

Good Anne of Cleves post btw! Forgot to say that…I won’t leave anymore comments today, promise.
The monster’s name is Gossamer…which I have always liked.
Yes! My first thought was Sully from “Monster’s Inc” (if he went through a purple phase).
Love the new look for your blog, Wendy! Kudos!
that is my favorite bugs bunny episode and that is my favorite part of it too!!
Ooh, I see it. I know I always wanted to look like a hairy monster…
The resemblance is uncanny…also a bit Chubacaish! Just what I want to look like…a pink hairy monster.
That monster got a great manicure from Bugs Bunny…
oh dear, that is quite true, haha!!
Oh, my! I’m laughing and laughing and filled with “What in the world were they thinking?”
Your new blog is so clean, so well-designed, so delightful–just like your jewelry, WendyB.
i actually like that d and g ad.

Ha, so true! One of my favorite BB episodes, the monster was so scary but then the manicure, oh how I idolized Bugs Bunny.
Wait, doesn’t that Bugs Bunny monster remind you of the Hunger monster in the recent weight-watchers’ ads??
