Henry Reads the New York Times

Yesterday, Henry pointed out a page in the Thursday Styles section of the New York Times.

“Mom, look!”

Unfortunately, even highly literate dogs like Henry can’t resist lying down on whatever you’re trying to read.

WendyB: “Excuse me, Henry.”
Henry: “My bad.”

After Henry got off the paper, I was able to admire a giant Macy’s ad for my designing friend Christian Francis Roth‘s Francis line. I think the dress in the lower right corner would be perfect for my gorgeous blogging friend The Preppy Princess. Lots of pink! I think the best one for me would be the second from the top on the left side. What do you think?

You know how I love that. I wish I could tell you how much everything is at Macy’s since Macy’s inspired this whole post but, alas, Macy’s doesn’t have the Francis line on its website.

  1. Oh dear, Miss Wendy, Tilly is just all aflutter now, knowing that Henry has these special skills!

    She’s wondering if Henry would like to come over for a play date and read ‘See Spot Run’ or ‘Lassie, Come Home’, but wants to be sure Henry *really* doesn’t mind lots of pink, as that is kind of everywhere at Tilly Manor. (She became alarmed seeing his ultimate reaction to the paper.)

  5. Lisa, he’s doing better! The foot does get infected now and then but much less than it used to. Of course, now that I say that, he’ll be in a cone for the rest of the summer!
