This Just In: Candytuft Stacking Rings

March 29, 2009 by WendyB

Candytuft is a flowering plant that has nothing whatsoever to do with candy.

Candytuft

My colorful new silver stacking rings, however, reminded me both of little flowers and candy, so I’m calling them Candytuft because I like the sound of it.

Each sterling silver ring is set with six stones.

Peridot
Blue topaz

Amethyst

The rings are $245 each. To see what they look like on, check my fan page on Facebook. The rings aren’t on my site yet, so if you want to order, email me at wbjewelry at hotmail dot com.

UPDATED TO ADD: Gorgeous blogger Princess Poochie said she’d like to see these in pink and white too. That reminds me to remind you that I’m always willing to customize. These rings absolutely can be done with different stones. I’d also do them 18K yellow, rose or white gold, or even platinum. Price upon request. A single one with diamonds would make a cool wedding band, wouldn’t it?

UPDATED AGAIN TO ADD: Coming up: white sapphire, pink tourmaline and citrine versions.

@Prunella that’s exactly what they made me think of, but I didn’t think the Skittles people would appreciate my using their name.

Wow, this shape and design is perfect for stacking rings! I love it. I’ll add them to my long list of “WendyB Wants.”

I’d love to see ruby, or some other red stone, also, as long as we’re throwing ideas into the mix.

I think I am a curious person by nature, WendyBeautiful, which is why I’m interested in the “hows” of your business.

Do you have a super-secret studio where you do everything by hand? Or is it more automated? Do you come up with the ideas and have employees to help with the physical creations? Inquiring minds want to know.

This, I think, would make a very, very interesting story. Who could we pitch this to so that I can take a trip to New York to interview WendyB AND get a tax write off?

I’ll begin researching potential outlets immediately!
