I’m a Genie in a Bottle, Baby

March 19, 2009 by WendyB

When I introduced my Genie in a Bottle cufflinks last month, I said I would wait for professional pictures to show you the 18K gold genie inside the silver bottle. I decided can’t stand waiting, so here’s a snapshot I took of the necklace version of this design.

She’ll grant you three wishes.

The genie is also going to be available on her own in both gold and silver. I don’t have the price finalized yet, but she’s a teeny genie, so sans bottle, she’ll be perfect for people on a budget. The stand-alone genie is 3D, like many of my other designs; you can see the back of her little vest when you turn her around. But I kept her face abstract, so you can imagine that she looks like whomever you fancy. I’m sure that won’t be the first time some of you do that!

If you want more information about the genie in the bottle (cufflinks or locket) or the genie without a bottle (necklace only), email me at wbjewelry at hotmail dot com.

UPDATED TO ADD: I have a beautiful new intro to my Wendy Brandes Jewelry website. If you’ve been to the site before, you might need to refresh to see the new look. If you want to interrupt the flash after you’ve seen it once, just click on anything else you want to see on the site. Don’t forget to notice the credit on the final photo.

AS far as “cool factor” goes, this one is off the charts, as evidenced by the Spousal Unit’s comments: “She made that? Really?”

It really is fabulous Miss Wendy, and brilliant from a psychological perspective at this point in time!

    Have a stellar weekend!
