Shiny Skirt

October 11, 2008 by WendyB

Thanks to LynnZ for pointing out this second-skin, latex-look skirt by LNA on Shopbop.

Shopbop suggests wearing the skirt with a loose-fitting t-shirt. I think that would be a good way to balance it out.

Dunno I’m all for the tight look all over! Might as well flaunt it.

Wow….The Boy always used to say I stray pretty close to the trashy looking border (hemlines are always shortened, I have a penchant for super high shoes and shiny things) but this is a bit too far for me…I can imagine someone like Mary Kate looking gorgeous in it, with a slightly grubby looking oversize tee and a blazer but not me!

This definitely needs something loose on top!

I agree that somethings lose on top would be best, but I also think the skirt would be better just a wee bit shorter.

    holy molly.. that waist.
Could one walk in that number easily? I find very difficult to get into my car when I wear a leather skirt even with a big slit at the back.. That’s super sexaayyy

Wendy, I’d definitely wear this if I had the bod, but since I don’t, I’d be just as happy watching it on others. So, are you purchasing?

Not purchasing, Lynn. I’ll make do with my shiny leggings. I’m stalking some other (non-latex) stuff on eBay now. That’s my shopping plan du jour.

A bit unforgiving for any body flaw and definitely toward “fetishwear” in style.

The 80s are back hardcore are they not?

oo sexy skirt. all the latex/lame looking material is making it’s arounds all over the place from AA to topshop and now to shopbop! i think AA has a slighter cheaper alternative, but shorter.

Hello Ladies! So I have this skirt and it does run small but it’s not as tight as it looks I promise! But if you love that then make sure you check out the shorter version of it that even has zipper pockets…and they both come in several different fabrics just in case the lame look is too much for you! I am an LNA fanatic!!! This skirt is a must~
