This One Is for the Vintage Lovahs

September 14, 2008 by WendyB

Where my vintage bitches at? Sharon Rose, Emmapeelpants and Cherie: this photo of an Ossie Clark dress is dedicated to you.

I’m carrying my lace Prada bag

I got this dress while I was out with the lovely Leah in March, and finally wore it out to dinner recently.

If you like the idea of vintage but don’t like dealing with moth holes, check out MaisyBrownReproRetro on Etsy. She makes vintage-style clothing. I’m completely in love with this dress that was based on an original ’60s pattern.

That Ossie dress is superb on you!

I love how you combined vintage with modern. This is the best example of that look I’ve seen in a long time.

Love your vintage finds. What’s the name of that little shop in Nolita? Resurrection? I used to love to search for Pucci there . . . (And I may have messed up my acronyms–it’s No-something, I believe . . .)

Love that Ossie, fabulous! Is it silver-grey or a pale lavender? Hard to tell on my monitor sometimes….

Emma, I often have trouble with colors on my monitor too. This is gray with pink embroidery.
