Today’s eBay Picks Continue the Pink Theme

August 25, 2008 by WendyB

As seen on Gwyneth Paltrow and Adriana Lima …

… a beautiful Zac Posen dress.

If you bid, don’t forget to snipe!

Or if you prefer to “buy it now,” check out this Temperley dress.

UPDATED TO ADD: Pretty Face asked for some jewelry. I’ve been thinking pink for a while now. Today, specifically, I was thinking a Clemence ring in pink and black would be nice. Imagine this piece with a brighter pink stone on the left and a black stone on the right.

Imagine yourself wearing that with one of today’s white, pink and black outfits. Now imagine yourself calling and giving me your credit card number and placing your order. Now imagine that you stop imagining this and just do it!

Oh, that Zac Posen dress is so flattering, I particularly dig the sleeves.

I’m also loving the row of black buttons on the cuffs of the Temperley frock. So tempting… xx

I have already bookmarked the Clemence Ring, ready for the mythical day that my husband’s next project finally gets the greenlight. I’m going to have to resist your hypnotic suggestions until then, though!

    That Temperley dress is beautiful.

Another Ebay find – I almost added this to my snipe account, but thought you needed it more than I do – it is an every-day appropriate boob bow cardigan! Made in British Crown Colony of Hong Kong label, so you know that beading is spectacular.

I don’t like Gwen in Zac Posen, I didn’t like the pale pink dress she wore in the Oscars, and I don’t like this one on her.

That ring is lovely, and easy to wear. Plus it goes with everything! You can even wear it to the grocery store.

Cute dress, but Adrianna even manages to make Gwenith look dumpy in it.

This is the one Zac Posen dress that I’ve actually liked (even blogged about it awhile back). But–sheesh–size M is a 29.5 inch bust? For tweens, perhaps . . . Darn you Zac; just when I warm up to a piece, you tweak the sizing!

  17. WendyB says

    August 25, 2008 at 6:37 pm

MissC, don’t worry, that’s a flat, unstretched measurement.

hmm, i’d prefer the pink on my rock, please! too bad my credit cards have been appropriated, and not by someone i can manipulate anymore. But as soon as this person sells some paintings for lots of money (the fantasy lives!), well, he’s already gotten a few Wendy B. jewelry notices, trust me.

indeed.. snipping is the only way.

only if you take that gold credit card from enc with the expire date set to 4ever. 🙂 – probably credit limit of ‘unlimited’ and the interest rate of 0%. In fact.. if I don’t have to pay back at all!!!! wake up songy. dream over.
