LindaE. Prada. What’s Not to Love?

July 3, 2008 by WendyB

I can’t wait to see the new Prada ads, starring my beloved LindaE, in their full glory.

Linda Evangelista

You KNOW I have my eye on those shoes.

UPDATED TO ADD: After I wrote this, but before I posted it, Martirio’s Way posted some more Linda here.

She looks divine. She was always Miss J’s favorite from the 90s Supermodels.

The shoes are to die from.

I know Wendy! In the past post on my blog, I putted the other ad of Linda for Prada, she’s still smockin’

I’m a huge Linda fan too! She’s got cheekbones like effing shelves, I just love it. Her and Christy.

Yes, I was similarly thrilled to see Linda again! What’s not to love about Prada?

Can’t wait to see more of Linda. I have her “comeback” Vogue cover shoot from a few years ago safely tucked away at home–it’s always inspiring on gray days.

She’s the best. I’m glad she’s doing Prada. And YES, I knew you had your eye on those shoes. I could see it coming a mile away.

    The shoes are intense

Bring on the supahmodels again! I prefer her in blonde though.
    Besos!

She looks so fancy and fierce; I love seeing the supermodels return (and feel so lucky to have grown up with them staring at me rather than the uber-twigs of today!).

Also, Miss B., I am totally amazed and somewhat not surprised you have read Molly Haskell. You’re always up on the best reads, and I think of you often when I pick up a book about historical figures (or one on a historical figures fashions).

She is one of my favourite models! I cannot wait to see the new ads. The shoes are sooooo fierce! I love Prada shoes – they are gorgeous and relatively comfy!

P.S. I’m quite flexible on timing, so email me, dear xxxxxxxx

I don’t think I’ve ever loved any other models like I love Linda Evangelista.

Do the ads have her doing jumping jacks? I’d like that.

  21. Princess Poochie says

Do you think they’ll actually make them????

We’ll see if we get them or just tamed versions of them.

She does look amazing here. I kind of don’t really like her in the L’Oreal ads but this is something different and much classier. And those shoes are divine.

Oh my GAWSH, how fantastic. Gorgeous Linda (coincidence that her name means “pretty?” I think not!), gorgeous photography & color scheme, gorgeous shoes. If Prada played baseball it would bat at least 1000 (forgive me, I’ve been forced to watch the Cardinals v. Cubs all aft!).

  31. fashion herald says

    July 5, 2008 at 12:34 pm

Flawless as ever. Baby models should pay attention, as nobody poses like Linda.
    Please buy the shoes!

  32. McGone says

    July 5, 2008 at 3:28 pm

To be honest, I was always a Christy Turlington guy myself.

I don’t really care about “fashion” so much, as you know. I just mean in the general “Which Smokin’ Hot Model From The 90s Is Smokin’ Hotter?” sort of way.

  33. Iheartfashion says

    July 5, 2008 at 4:25 pm

    I love those crazy shoes!

This has nothing to do with how she looks as a model, but if you’ve seen Unzipped you can’t escape this fact – Linda E is a ninny.

TSB, I thought she was quite highlarious in that movie!
