Media Alert: The Coveted in the Chronicle

Jennine of The Coveted is quoted in the San Francisco Chronicle! Hmmm. I have to say I wish the reporter’s tone was a little nicer. Here’s the passage: “‘I will not be attending S.F. Fashion Week,’ begins a rant on www.thecoveted.blogspot.com, which was later picked up as a link on several other fashion blogs. ‘I may not have a degree in fashion or journalism, nor have I served as an assistant to some established member of the fashion industry,’ writes the blogger, Jennine Tamm. ‘I do work very hard at delivering daily fashion tidbits to the blogosphere. … At what point can you define yourself as a member of the press?'” I’m not sure I’d describe that original post as a “rant” but it’s gotten a bit cliche to categorize every blog post as either a rant or a rave. It’s more important that the Chronicle spelled Jennine’s name correctly and mentioned the name of her blog twice. Go Jennine!
