The first time I wrote about Lynn was on August 13, 2007, when this blog was only three weeks old. My admiration of her distinctive taste has only grown since then, so I was excited when my superstar hair stylist friend Julie Matos encountered Lynn on a nearly deserted street back in the post-lockdown, pre-mask days of March. With “pics or it didn’t happen” in mind, Julie requested a pose.

Now that a New York get-up requires a mask to help keep others safe, I hope someone has made one for Lynn with her signature lipstick look painstakingly embroidered on the front. Lynn’s lips must persist!
