Ms. Wendy, I don’t know if I can keep doing this. I burst into tears today. I’m already discouraged because of the full-frontal, unrelenting assault on everything that is important to me and all of us. There are so many bills that they’re ramming through in just the first two days that I can’t keep up, don’t have the time to address.

That was so whiny of me. I think the unbelievable hatred from supporters of the repeal of the ACA and de-funding of PP had gotten to me yesterday. So much clueless, ignorant bile and vitriol. I finally snapped and started challenging people regarding their lack of knowledge and false preconceived ideas. And it re-energized me! And made me understand and appreciate political journalists and people who work in government. Their work seems overwhelming to me; my civic duties are simple and easy. Resist!

Oh, I feel like giving up all the time too. But then I remember that the results of giving up will come back to haunt me. So I muddle along!
